PDF patterns are dangerous
I was trimming threads on my blue/green batik quilt ready to quilt when I got sick of it and bought a mini starburst pattern from canoe ridge creations and started that instead. It is too easy to get distracted and start new projects!
Now I have just got a quilt back from the quilter and am sewing the binding on that instead. I cant wait to finish it and hang it on the wall.

Finish Aurifil BOM
Quilt this one myself with flannel backing and no batting for a nice summer quilt.

Requilt this as I unpicked first attempt.

Ready to be quilted
I have finished the quilt based on 25 half square triangles with Camille Roskelley. I used the details for the shuffle at LaVieEnRosie to make the blocks. I love it and the blocks are 16 inches so it is a good size. I am going to have this quilted.
I finished this one years ago and haven't done anything with it. Not sure if I should try quilting it myself as it is quite large. It is 9 patchtastic from Moda bakeshop years ago using a layer cake.

Table Runners
I seem to be addicted to making table runners! I made another modern maples. This time for my mum. I love this block and definitely want to make a quilt with it.
I love this. I think it is the first time I have sewn with Art Gallery fabrics. They are beautiful fabrics with a different feel to them. I also am a fan of Pat Bravo now. The runner is a test for the cross quilt I want to make. The colours do not look nearly as good in the picture as they do in real life. I only had 4 fat quarters of the Pat Bravo fabric which I bought at the last quilt show. I am not big on pretty fabrics for me to use, as much as I admire the things that others make with them but I loved this bundle. I will be checking out Art Gallery and Pat Bravo fabrics from now on. The pattern is from Fairy face designs and Ellison Lane quilts and is an old one. It is the across the sea quilt along which I have wanted to do for a while. It includes instructions for cutting from a layer cake so I can buy a layer cake of horizon by Kate Spain and make a quilt for ME.
