Kona club

I joined the Australian Kona Club with Handmade by emily Kona Fabric Club. Quilt fabric is very expensive in Australia and after living in the states for 3 years, I find it hard to pay Australian prices. This club is very reasonable so I joined and guess what. I even got a bonus bit of fabric. The green is not part of the club and is a little extra Emily added. It was a lovely surprise.

Heading South

I really want to make a lot of flying geese quilts. I decided to start small with this one from Material Girls. It is meant to use scraps from a gorgeous quilt in Love Patchwork and Quilting . I don't have the magazine so I just made the runner.

I need to stop watching TV when I sew

I love the Hazel Hedgehog pattern by oh fransson and decided I need to make a cushion. I cant believe how much I messed it up. I am thinking maybe a wombat on a bad hair day. The pattern is extremely well written and easy to follow, I was amazed that I managed to mess it up. I decided I liked my wombat???? so I left him as is.

Mini Charm Mix

I made this table runner using the mini charm mix pattern at the fat quarter shop. I love how it turned out and want to make a quilt with the pattern.
